MathGPT is an automated Artificial Intelligence tool. While our Neuro-Symbolic Engine strives for high accuracy, AI models can occasionally produce incorrect answers (“hallucinations”).

You use this service at your own risk. We are not responsible for errors in calculations, incorrect homework solutions, or exam results. Always verify critical math problems with a human tutor or textbook.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MathGPT.Chat (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Permitted Use & Academic Integrity

You agree to use MathGPT solely for personal, educational purposes. You explicitly agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to cheat on graded exams, quizzes, or standardized tests.
  • Copy answers directly without understanding the underlying logic.
  • Use the Service in violation of your school’s or university’s Honor Code.

3. Prohibited Conduct

When using our chat interface, you must not:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape our Symbolic Engine or API.
  • Send automated queries (bots) that overload our servers.
  • Input malicious code or prompts designed to bypass safety filters (“jailbreaking”).

4. Intellectual Property

The visual interface, branding (“MathGPT”), and specific AI prompting methodologies are the intellectual property of MathGPT.Chat. However, the mathematical facts and formulas generated are considered public domain.

5. Affiliate Disclosure

Our Service is free to use. To support our infrastructure costs, some links in the chat results or solution steps may direct you to third-party partners (e.g., human tutoring platforms or textbook solutions). We may receive a commission if you purchase services through these links, at no extra cost to you.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MathGPT.Chat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, academic probation, or failure to achieve a specific grade.

7. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service (including the free chat interface) at any time without notice.
